Movie update - May 29, 2008

The writers' strike is long over...and now we are back to watching our fave TV shows.

The fabulous writers/producers that have the option rights to VAMPIRE KISSES have informed me that they are developing a script and are having meetings with potential producers.
Yay! :)

As soon as I hear more, I’ll post another update.

 

I appreciate all of you fabulous readers who have been emailing me and asking, “Will there be a Vampire Kisses movie?”

I’ve always written back that I’d share with you any news I had, so I wanted to let you know...
I just signed a film option!!!

Now before you run and buy popcorn, you may wonder what all this means...
What the film “option” means is that for a year, a production company has the right to try to develop the book(s) into a movie. This of course can take many moons--especially with the current writer’s strike going on. Sometimes movies aren’t made-- sometimes they are. Either way, it can take a long time to make them happen. But that said, as soon as I get more details (and again, it will be quite sometime before I hear anything) I’ll update you.
